Once we receive a request we will take time to review, plan the work, schedule the project, and prepare an official estimate. Please note every request—and every client—is unique, so final costs may vary depending on complexity and communication needs. VIL is committed to working diligently with all clients and doing our best to assist you on your creative quest.

Payment Structure
Payments are divided into two parts:
• 50% at the start of the project
• 50% upon completion

All custom order payments are processed through PayPal. Custom services are billed hourly, with a minimum of one hour required per project. Generally, the simpler the idea, the more cost-efficient.

Client Communication
Throughout the entire process, you remain in control. VIL will not advance a project without your consent. Custom work requires clear and timely communication. If responses from the client are delayed, the project may stall and turnaround times may extend beyond our control.

When Submitting Your Request, Please Include:

• Size — Length, width, height, circumference, etc. Please be as precise as possible.
• Visual — Photos, sketches, or even an AI-generated image are all acceptable. We simply need a visual starting point.

If the project involves 3D printing, please specify:

• Preferred material (plastic, metal, etc.)
• Intended purpose (pendant, toy, hardware component, etc.)
 

If the project involves decals, please specify:
• Desired color(s)
Note: decals cannot be produced in full color but may be possible in two or more colors depending on the design.

3D MODELING DETAILS

• VIL charges $60 per hour for 3D modeling services. Minimum 1 hour required for all projects.
• VIL provides 3D modeling only. 3D Printing must be handled by a third-party provider.
• VIL is prepared to recommend reputable and affordable 3D printing services worldwide.

After your 3D model is completed, you may choose to:

1. Purchase the model file to download. Once purchased, the model becomes yours to use as you wish. The file on VIL’s end will either be archived—never accessed again unless you request it—or permanently deleted; leaving you as the sole holder of the only existing copy. Please note that pricing varies depending on the complexity and details of each project.

2. Allow VIL to use the model for 3D printing. If you do not wish to purchase the file, we can transfer the model file directly to a 3D printing service on your behalf. The finished 3D print would be shipped directly to you. 

Please note: 3D printing is a separate cost.
We can provide estimates for 3D printing early in the process, but the exact printing cost cannot be determined until the 3D model is 100% completed.

CUSTOM DECAL DETAILS

• VIL will provide photo updates throughout the process and await your approval before advancing the work.
• Upon final approval, the decal is cut. It is sealed. It is sent. VIL includes one complimentary decal of your artwork — a gift from us to you​
 

Additional decals may be purchased separately. Depending on the complexity of the design, decals can typically be produced in sizes ranging from 2 to 11.5 inches (with larger sizes possible in some cases). Please note that some designs may also be too detailed to produce at smaller sizes.​​
